Getting here is easy. Park City Mountain Resort is a quick 35-minute trip eastbound on Interstate 80 from the Salt Lake Valley. Follow these instructions to help you to the resort.

  • Travel eastbound on I-80, exit at Kimball Junction (exit #145)
  • Proceed southbound on SR-224 towards Park City (SR-224 merges into Park Avenue in Park City)
  • Turn right onto Empire Avenue, at Cole Sports (follow bend around) Proceed south on Empire Ave. past Shadow Ridge Hotel. Turn right on Shadow Ridge Drive.
  • Turn left onto Lowell Avenue and park in the main parking lot on the lefthand side of the road.
  • Follow directions on the Resort Base Area map to find Park City Mountain Rentals in the Legacy Lodge.

It may be difficult to find parking in Park City Mountain Resort's main resort base area after 10 a.m. on weekends. We encourage you to use our overflow lots at City Park located on the east side of Park Avenue, and at Treasure Mountain International School, located on Kearns Blvd. The free city bus system will take you to Park City Mountain Resort. From Treasure Mountain International School, use the Red Line. From the City Park, you can take any bus that says PCMR. Please be careful not to park in the Library Lot as this lot is not available for skier parking.

If you wish to park onsite, we suggest you arrive early (by 10:00am on weekends) in order to secure a parking spot. This also allows you to pick up last minute items such as goggles or gloves, familiarize yourself with the resort, and grab a bite to eat before your lesson.
